In the US alone, the gaming industry is worth $138 billion. This includes all sorts of facets, and one of the biggest is gaming hardware. Computers, mice, keyboards, monitors, accessories etc. One company that is among the top of the peripheral category (Mice, keyboards, etc.) is Razer.

Razer, a startup from San Diego began making gaming accessories in 2005 and quickly became one of the most popular for gaming enthusiasts. Personally, I am not a gamer. I casually played xbox with friends in high school, but have not touched a video game in several years. Regardless, I see Razer’s products all the time at stores like Target and Walmart, and identify their name and logo very easily. They are definitely no small company and have a large number of sponsorships with individual gaming personalities online and gaming teams that compete across the world.

Razer already has brand partnerships with streamers, YouTubers, and competitive players, but I think they could expand. I think they could work with the people who make popular YouTube videos about general tech. Someone like MKBHD on YouTube with several million subscribers could really get Razer further along than their competition. People who watch tech review channels are often looking for tech for personal use, whether that is school or the office. I think Razer should branch out into the home and office use tech even though they are known for their gaming accessories. People using a PC for work or personal will always need mice and keyboardds, maybe a video editor needs a new laptop and the Razer Blade laptop is best for them. If Razer was to work with generic tech reviewers they could really get a boost in sales.
